Hadiths Degree :Fasting on Tarwiyah Days

Hadiths Degree :Fasting on Tarwiyah Days

ByAl-Ustadz Abdul Hakim bin Amr Abdat

All too often I was asked about fasting on the day Tarwiyah (eighth Hijjah) which is practiced by most of the Muslims. They fasted for two days on eight and nine-Hijjah (Day of Arafah). And always the question I answered: I do not know! Because I did not get the hadith on which they rest to fast on the day Tarwiyah.Alhamdulillah, today (August 3, 1987) I have found a hadith that wording as follows.صوم يوم التروية كفارة سنة, وصوم يوم عرفة كفارة سنتين"Meaning: Fasting on the day Tarwiyah abolished (sin) a year, and fasting on the day of Arafah abolished (sin) two years".Narrated by Imam Firdaus Dailami in his book Musnad (2/248) of the road:1. Abu Shaikh from:2. Ali bin Ali Al-Himyari from:3. Kalbiy from:4. Abi Shaalih from:5. Ibn Abbas marfu '(ie sanadnya came to the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam)I say: This hadith rank maudlu '.Sanad of this hadith has two diseases.First.Kalbiy (no. 3) the name: Muhammad bin Al-Kalbiy Saaib. He is a liar narrator. He once told Sufyan Ats-Tsauri, "What-what do you hear from me hadith of Abi Shaalih way of Ibn Abbas, the hadith is a lie" (The above hadith narrated from the Abi Kalbiy Shaalih of Ibn Abbas).Imam Hakim said: "He narrated from Abi Shaalih hadiths that maudlu '(false)" On this Kalbiy further it can be read in the books Jarh ta'dil Wat.1. At-Taqrib 2/163 by al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar2. Adl-Dlu'afaa 2/253, 254, 255, 256 by Imam Ibn Hibban3. Adl wal-Dlu'afaa Matruukin no. 467 by Imam Daruquthni4. Al-Jarh Wat ta'dil 7/721 by Imam Ibn Abi Hatim]. Tahdzibut Tahdheeb 9/5178 by Ibn Hajar Al-HafizdSecond: Ali bin Ali Al-Himyari (no. 2) is a narrator who majhul (unknown).Conclusion1. Fasting on the day Tarwiyah (8 Hijjah) is legal heresy. Because the hadith which they rely on is false hadith / maudlu 'that absolutely should not be made as the argument. Never mind the arguments made, and even brought the hadith maudlu 'is not the purpose of explaining his fraud to the people, is haraam by consensus of the scholars.2. Fasting the day of Arafah (9th of Dhu al-Hijjah) is the law of circumcision as the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam below.صيام يوم عرفة احتسب على الله ان يكفر السنة التي قبله والسنة التي بعده, وصيام يوم عاشوراء احتسب على الله ان يكفر السنة التي قبله"Meaning: ... And fasting the day of 'Arafah-I hope from God-abolished (sin) a year has past and the year to come. And fasting the day of 'Ashura' (10th of Muharram)-I expect from abolishing God (sin) has been one year ago ".[Saheeh narrated by Imam Muslim (3/168), Abu Dawood (no. 2425), Ahmad (5/297, 308, 311), Bayhaqi (4/286) and others]Scholars said: The sins are blotted out here are small sins. Allaah knows best![Copied from the book Al-Masaa'il (Religious Issues) Volume 2, Author Abdul Hakim bin Amr Abdat, Darul Qalam Publishers - Jakarta, Matter I, Th. 1423H/2002M]
